To keep your entire family healthier, make sure the candles you light in the next 8 days to celebrate the Festival of Light are made from natural materials, such as soybean, palm, hemp, or beeswax. Unfortunately, most candles sold during the winter holidays are made out of paraffin wax and scented with synthetic fragrances, which emit chemicals that can irritate respiratory tracts and even trigger asthma.
