In New York? Give the Cubes a shake at Engadget Expand NY!

by Alja Isakovic

After launching CubeSensors Sleep on the stage of Pioneers Festival in Vienna last week, we’re taking the Cubes for another road trip, this time to the US. You’ll be able to meet them in person at the Engadget Expand NY, a free conference for technology fans. Expand NY takes place on Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8. We’ll be demoing the Cubes and our latest Sleep update in the Indie Corner, together with other cool hardware startups.

So, if you happen to be in New York on Friday and/or Saturday and you want to see first-hand how the Cubes can help you sleep better this holidays season, make sure to get your Expand NY ticket and come say hello.

CubeSensors give you advice on how to make your home or office healthier or more productive. You can place your Cubes in any room you want, but there’s one room in your home that’s especially important for your wellbeing: your bedroom.

More than half of us experience sleep problems on a regular basis, especially during the week. We often don’t have the time to sleep the recommended 7 – 8 hours. And we fail to make the most of the sleep we get.

Sleep is our natural recharging mechanism. Not sleeping enough or well enough can cause concentration and memory problems, and even serious health problems in the long run. Which is why CubeSensors are learning a few tricks that can help you establish a healthier sleep routine and a more sleep-friendly bedroom:

We’ve also prepared a new video to introduce these new features. To find out more about how CubeSensors can help you sleep better and order your pack for this holiday season, visit: https://cubesensors.com/sleep

Special thanks to alaya for allowing us to use the track by Tydes x Petit Biscuit – Rebirth and to Anja and Jaka for letting us use their lovely flat.

It feels great to finally be shipping the Cubes from stock, usually just a day after you place your order. But we also keep our lives interesting by working on new updates for existing Cubes.

As they are, the Cubes are already quite smart about your home or office. They offer slightly different recommendations depending on whether you place them in a living space, a bedroom or an office. But we want them to get even smarter about the kind of room they’re supposed to monitor.

Which is why we’re preparing a major update for the app for this holiday season. Curious about what the new functionality will be like? Well, you’ll have to wait until the end of the month. We’ll be unveiling the new announcement at the Pioneers Festival in Vienna on October 30.

We’re also working on a new promo video for the announcement. We’re not ready to reveal it just yet, but you can see how most of the team helped out on the video set this week. A special thanks goes to Ana, a recent much needed addition to our production team, for taking these behind the scenes photos.
